F1 Night Race

Today i went out with QS, and after playing LAN games, we went to check out F1 Night race!



I can tell you, it's damn noisy. Whenever the race cars run pass, the sound produced by the gay engine is so damn loud, you can't freaking hear the person beside you talking. And imagine those cars are travelling at approximately 300km/h and the time taken for a car to run a lap isn't very long, also considering the fact that there are 10 other cars running the same track.

So yea, the freaking loud engine sound is constantly produced.

We can't get a clear view on the tracks (if we do, then there wouldn't be a need for tickets). So we wondered around, trying to get a good view, and finally ended up at Marina Square. The view at Marina Square still ain't very nice, but i took video of the race track.

A 25 seconds video, with 3 to 4 race cars passing by. But due to the extreme low quality of my camera phone, and the extreme bright lighting on the tracks. You can hear the engine sound from the video, BUT YOU SEE NO FREAKING RACE CAR DRIVE PASS! -_-"

So yongjin used his Ultimate Cybershot 1000 Megapixel Camera (UC1000MC) to take a video of the track!



After that the practice rounds ended, and we headed for City Link from Marina Square.

But,

The police blocked the way towards City Link, so everyone was forced to walk ALL THE WAY back to Suntec City and enter City Link by there. It's like asking us to walk one hella big round just to get to the MRT station! The best part was, there's no aircon in City Link. Either the Management switched off the aircon, or there are too many people around, so it feels as though there's no cold air around.

Anywho, i was expecting a damn packed train ride home. But to my surprise, the train towards Pasir Ris is rather empty, and i still got a good seat to sleep! How great!

The saddest part of the train ride is that i alighted at Tampines instead of Pasir Ris, not knowing the station was Tampines until i was about to exit the gates.

When i was going down the escalator, i was wondering how come the place looks different and why is the area so spacious and big. -_-"

I realised that the train actually slowed down and stopped before moving off again, just before Tampines MRT station, which they seldom do and they only do that near Pasir Ris MRT station. So i mistook that station for Pasir Ris and alighted. Oh well blonde moment =/

So i went up the escalator and took another train to Pasir Ris and after that sat bus home.
