Results of Main Comm Election

But anyway, the LSCT society main committee results are out.

I'm pretty sure some people are not very happy with the results. Some people didn't get in, some people are not happy with certain people getting in, some are not happy that some people got in, but they didn't get in themselves. I'm trying my very best to get a very very neutral point of view, though i know there's still this tinge of biasness present. It's human nature to be biased, it's only how much to an extent.

Firstly, i hope people would very much accept the fact that the list of people stated above WILL BE the main committee and there's probably no way to change it. So since everything is already in place, why not just move on with life and get over it?

Secondly, if we are gonna dislike those people who we don't want to be main comm, it will only make things much more difficult for everyone. So i hope that we could set our differences aside and focus on what's best for the society.

Thirdly, please don't judge a person too fast. Though first impression always count, and people tend to remember more of the bad things done by people. It's best we stay neutral for a moment and see more to this person, who knows, he/she may be much better than you think.




I'm not trying to make myself sound all goody guy. I know it's tough to achieve these 3 points, but if we do, wouldn't it make life alot better?


Let's hope everything eventually turns out well.
Why waste your time hating someone, when you could use the time to accept people. Who wants more enemies than friends?
